Adductor Magnus

The largest adductor — it has a hole (adductor hiatus) that the femoral artery passes through.
Function
Adducts hip; anterior fibers flex, posterior fibers extend hip
Origin
Inferior pubic ramus, ischial ramus, and ischial tuberosity
Insertion
Linea aspera, medial supracondylar line, adductor tubercle
Innervation
Obturator nerve (L2-L4) and tibial division of sciatic nerve (L4)
